When standing at a bus stop on Mare Street or Dalston Junction these days, we wait longer, watch crammed buses pass by, and increasingly read notices saying that the routes we rely on are being permanently altered or cut altogether.
We just want to keep what we’ve got. A 13.5% pay reduction is proposed. They want to reduce us from 52-week pay to 44 weeks for catering staff and 45 weeks for cleaners.
After two and half weeks of striking and picketing their Fleet Street offices, digital and tech workers at Legal 500 have won a stunning victory.
