Rich City of London challenged by its workers
The richest local authority area in Europe was rocked by a workforce-wide pay strike on 25 May. Members of general unions GMB and Unite are demanding a rise of 15% or £5,000, whichever is greater.

96%! RMT tube workers vote to continue fighting
RMT members on London Underground have voted again to renew our strike mandate in defence of jobs, pensions and agreements. 96% voted to strike on a turnout of 56%. Over 50% of all eligible voters were in favour of strike action.
