The 13th national demo calling for a ceasefire, demanding that the UK stop arming Israel, took place in central London on 27 April. Thousands marched from Parliament Square to Hyde Park, saying: “Not in our name”.
There are 63,000 Londoners in temporary accommodation. Labour Mayor of London Sadiq Khan’s housing strategy has started building 20,000 homes by 2024, far less than the 100,000 needed to keep up with demand.

Parents and trade unions shredded the council’s proposals to privatise or close two children’s centres, and change the usage at two others, at Hackney Council’s scrutiny meeting on 19 February.
