Students walk out, MPs lobbied and protests against war on Gaza
It didn’t seem to be a big demonstration at the beginning. But it became larger. On Thursday 7 December, students that had walked out gathered outside Downing Street.

London solidarity with textile workers in Turkey
Members of the Socialist Party joined a protest outside the Levi’s store in central London in solidarity with Ozak textile workers that supply the company in Urfa in Turkey.
Gaza protests not stopping
We attended the London demonstration, and the Saturday evening rally at Socialism 2023 afterwards. As soon as we left Bond Street station, the first thing we spotted was a Socialist Party gazebo, run by party members.
London anti-war demo of historic proportions
Once again, the streets of London were filled with protesters against the war on Gaza on 11 November. Socialist placards and papers were snapped up and demonstrators thanked us for our continued support for the growing movement.

Collective grief and anger brought one of the biggest Palestine solidarity marches in UK history. Fears that the demonstration would see fewer numbers than that of the previous Saturday were quelled by more attendees than a week prior.
London Socialist Party discusses the fight to end the housing crisis
On 18 October, 60 people attended a London Socialist Party public meeting to address the housing crisis. This coincided with a last-minute vigil for those affected by the air strike on a hospital in Gaza, which we attended before the meeting.

Protesting under shadow of dangerous Walthamstow tower blocks
Our local campaign group ‘Save Our Square’ met under the shadow of the two newly constructed lift shafts for the two monster blocks being built in Walthamstow, East London. Our campaign has held these buildings at bay for eight years.
